The Journey from Then to Now
My love for music started with DJ’ing while in Secondary School. Over the years, it developed to include a love for writing lyrics and MC’ing, which led to creating music to rhyme over.

Wanting to know what all the dials did in my Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), I quit my Electrical Engineering job and went to study Sound Engineering and Music Technology. I was top of my class yet could not find a paying position in a recording studio. Young and confused, I decided to create an album to use all of my new-found wizardry with sound.

I worked on many live gigs, a few film sets, taught young people and eventually got that paying position in a studio. However, by this time a preference for the types of projects I wanted to work on was well-developed. After years on different jobs, I was clearer than ever about which I was most passionate about.

Having worked for so many years in the Music Business, mixed with a desire to share my knowledge, I decided to create tutorial videos. There is so much music theory and production technique that would have eased the process of music production had I have known them when I was starting out. It is my intent to share these essential tips with up-and-coming producers everywhere.

During my downtime, I practice bass guitar, develop my music theory and meditate. My goals are to work with great clients, on inspiring projects, and to share all the tips I learn along the way.
