TERMS OF SERVICE
For Unaufaodx Productions and Unaufadox Music Lessons
Last Updated on: 21st January 2022
I composed this document so dealings with clients can start with a clear understanding. It is designed to help manage expectation and avoid disappointment.
I reserve the right to make changes to this document so please refer back to it from time to time to check for any updates.
Billing
Before work on a project begins, a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total fee will be paid. Upon clearance of those funds in the company’s bank account (to be referred to as The Account), Unaufadox Productions (to be referred to as The Company) will allocate resources and work will commence. An invoice for these funds will be sent to The Client upon the agreement of the service to be provided, and the acceptance of these terms.
When a project is completed, the invoice for the remaining balance of the total fee will be sent to The Client. A digital copy of the project containing a watermark will be sent for review. When the payment has cleared in The Account, the watermark will be removed and resent. Revisions can begin before or after the full payment.
For Tutorial services, full payment will be received before products are delivered. This will be administrated by The Company’s chosen ecommerce service provider.
Revisions
Unfortunately, there are times during a project where more and more changes begin to degrade the quality, or we move further and further away from the initial vision The Company and The Client had for the project.
Every effort will be made to get the project to where The Client and The Company are happy however, there comes a time when all reasonable options have been exhausted and a final version must be submitted.
Beyond this point, at The Company’s discretion, further changes will incur a fee but this will be clearly communicated to The Client before any fees are incurred.
Late Payments
A deposit must be paid and cleared before work begins, so the commencement date is somewhat in the hands of The Client. There is no late payment fee for the deposit.
Once an invoice is sent for work completed, the balance of that invoice must be paid within fourteen days (14) days of receiving the invoice. Late payments incur a fifty pound (£50) charge for every fourteen (14) days the invoice goes unpaid.

Interim Charge Caps
If a project contains smaller projects/milestones such as a ten track album where each track needs mixing services, invoices need to be paid as work is completed. For example, when the first track is completed and the invoice is sent, it needs to be paid and to clear in The Account before work on the second track can begin.

Depending on the nature of the project, work may begin on the second project before the first invoice clears in order to be efficient however, this is at The Company’s discretion.
Spec Work
Please respect the time and effort professionals dedicate to their craft.
Promotion
The company reserves the right to feature a portion of the projects it works on at www.unaufadox.com (to be referred to as The Website. This consists of a short sample of the project before work was completed, and a short sample of after work was completed. It is accompanied by a social media link and links (created by The Client) to buy or listen to the full project.
For promotion of Tutorial services The Company reserves all rights to the materials created and can post smalls samples of courses available. However, it is not The Company’s intention to release all premium information for free. The Company will provide value to paying customers which is not available to the non paying viewers of that content.
Returns and Refunds (Tutorial Products)
All sales of tutorial products are final however, if products are found to not meet expectations or provide inaccurate information please send a message to unaufadoxlessons@icloud.com. All matters will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Termination of Service (By The Client)
To terminate services The Company must be contacted using the contact form on The Website, or any other means that have been established during the working process.
All fees for services provided (up until the point of termination) must be paid and cleared in The Account before projects will be sent without the watermark.
The Company reserves the right to upload a portion of the project to The Website for promotional/marketing reasons. The Company reserves the right to make changes to the project which it deems necessary to best reflect The Company’s offered services for example, if services were terminated halfway through the project.
Artwork and a social media link for The Client and/or the project will be requested to accompany the project on The Website.
Unforeseen or Termination of a Project (By The Company)
In the unlikely event The Company needs to terminate work on a project, all files will be sent to The Client with all work completed up until that point. The Company will do its absolute best to ensure that a new company or freelancer will be able to ‘pick up from where The Company left off’. Information which maybe submitted can include, but is not limited to, notes, screenshots, processors and/or plugins used, software and hardware used.
All services provided up until the point of termination need to be paid and cleared in full before such materials will be released.
